PhD Position in Health Sciences

Southampton Solent University is pleased to invite applicants to apply for PhD funding in health sciences. Citizens of any country are eligible to apply. The deadline for applying is April 19, 2015.

Southampton Solent University in partnership with Southampton City Council invites applications for a full-time funded PhD studentship in the area of Public Health. This studentship provides an exciting opportunity to engage in applied research designed to assess the effectiveness of interventions to increase physical activity levels in school aged children in Southampton.
Application Requirements
- Applicants should possess a minimum of an upper second class honours degree in a health or science related subject. Applicants with a Master's degree in a health related discipline, and particularly but not exclusively Public Health, are encouraged to apply.
- You are not required to produce your own PhD proposal for this post. Names of referees should be provided but references are not required at point of application – these will be sought for the successful applicant after interview.
