PhD Scholarship at University of Copenhagen

UCPH is offering a PhD scholarship. The deadline for applying this position is on January 06, 2015.

The Center for Quantum Devices at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, announces the opening of a PhD positions to investigate coherence properties of superconductor-semiconductor hybrid electronic structures, for both conventional and topological quantum information processing.

Salary, pension and terms of employment are in accordance with the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Academics Central organization. Currently, starting salaries are about 25,000 DKK (€ 3,330) per month for Ph.D. students - plus full benefits including pension.

Application Requirements
The candidate should have a strong background in experimental and theoretical physics, including low temperature experimental technique and nanofabrication. The successful applicant will be enrolled as a Ph.D. student at the University of Copenhagen.

The Ph.D. program, in addition to the project work, comprises participation in courses or international Ph.D. schools and some activity as teaching assistant.
