MBA Scholarship at University of Edinburgh

MBA studentships are available at University of Edinburgh. Citizens of any country are eligible to apply. Applicants should apply before May 31, 2015.

Victor H Loewenstein generously donates an annual Scholarship to a candidate from outside of the UK in order to enhance the international profile of the Edinburgh MBA. The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and the contribution you can make to the MBA.

Mr Loewenstein is an alumnus of the University of Edinburgh. During his student years he was involved with AIESEC and was shortly after graduation elected Secretary General of AIESEC International, in Geneva. Now, retired after close to a 40 year-career in Management Consulting, Mr Loewenstein is happy to offer this support to an MBA student.

Each scholarship will be worth £ 5,000. The scholarships will be deducted from the tuition fees.

Application Requirements
The scholarship is open to applicants who have an excellent academic record, who are applying for admission onto the 12 or 16 month Full-time MBA in September 2015. It is available to applicants who are citizens and residents of any country except the United Kingdom.

Applicants should already have been offered a place on one of the programmes, and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so. If they have not yet paid their deposit, they will be required to pay within two weeks of being offered the scholarship. Applicants who hold full sponsorships are not eligible for the scholarship. If an applicant is successful in being awarded a scholarship, but subsequently declines their offer of admission on the MBA programme, the award of the scholarship will be withdrawn and awarded to another applicant. An award may be withdrawn if a student fails to meet the academic standards set by the University.

Applicants who are sponsored by their employer or are in receipt of a full scholarship are not eligible for these scholarships.
